What are press-on nails and how do they work?

♡ Press-on nails are artificial nails that are designed to be easily applied and removed without the need for professional assistance. They typically come with adhesive backing or require a separate nail glue. The application process involves selecting the appropriate size for each nail, applying the adhesive, and pressing the nail onto the natural nail for a secure fit.

How long do press-on nails last?

♡ The longevity of press-on nails can vary based on several factors, including the quality of the product, the application technique, and daily activities. On average, well-applied press-on nails can last anywhere from 5 to 14 days. Proper care, such as avoiding excessive moisture and impact, can extend their lifespan.

♡ For short term wear we recommend using the sticky tabs provided as they are easy to apply and remove. However for long term wear, use the glue provided and follow the application instructions included. 

Are your press-on nails reusable?

♡ While some press-on nails can be reused, it largely depends on the condition of the nails after removal. If the nails are gently removed and stored properly, they may be suitable for multiple applications. However, it is essential to assess their integrity before reusing them.

♡ To reuse nails after applying nail glue, use cuticle oil or petroleum jelly. Cover the left over glue on the nail in the oil or petroleum jelly and let sit over night. You will be able to gently scrape the residue with a cuticle pusher. Then gently wash with a little soap and water. Thoroughly dry before reapplying or storing. Your press on nails should last at least 2 to 3 more uses.  

How do I choose the right size for my press-on nails?

♡ Choosing the correct size for press-on nails is crucial for a natural appearance and secure fit. Please measure your natural nails using our guide or purchase a sizing kit for the most accurate measurements. 

How do I remove press-on nails?

♡ Soak your hands in warm water with a mild soap and oil (cuticle, olive, avocado, etc.) for 15 minutes. Then gently pry press-on from nail using a cuticle stick. 

♡ To use debonder simply apply some to edges of nail and let soak for a couple seconds before attempting to lift press-on from nail. Continue applying debonder as you are able to lift more of the nail, until fully removed.
